Hi, I’m Tom — and I love to create.
For the past 20 years, I’ve poured my energy into teaching, directing, and performing music. I currently serve as the Music Director for theater productions at Turlock High School, with Turlock Youth Performing Arts (TYPA), and at Sacred Heart Parish. I’m also the Band Director at Sacred Heart School, where I’ve taught everything from Band, Choir, and Drama to Computers, Art, and Robotics over the past 16 years.
This year, I’m taking on a new challenge: pursuing my Master’s Degree in IT Management through Western Governors University, blending my passion for creativity with my love of technology.
Outside of the classroom, I’ve worn many hats — Sub Tech Support Specialist with Turlock Unified School District, Tech Admin and Webmaster at Sacred Heart School, private music instructor, and saxophonist with groups ranging from Ingram’s Big Band to community ensembles across the Central Valley. I’ve also directed dozens of plays and musicals at schools and organizations throughout the region, providing students with unforgettable experiences on stage.
Beyond teaching and performing, I’ve had the privilege of bringing music, sound engineering, photography, and videography to weddings, concerts, fundraisers, and community events.
When I’m not working on a project, you’ll usually find me tinkering with 3D printing, making short films, composing music, or diving into creative hobbies like graphic design, laser engraving, and developing 35mm film. I’ve also been known to crack a dad joke or two (with mixed reviews from my family).
Most importantly, I’m a husband and dad. I live in Turlock, California, with my wife and our two kids, who inspire me every day to keep creating, learning, and sharing.
